Entrepreneur spotlight: Gloire can’t read, but he’s writing the book on marketing

Our training program helps aspiring workers overcome obstacles to starting a business.

Gloire struggled in school. But God had a different plan.

He worked alongside his mother in her business, but Gloire longed to go out on his own. Now 20 years old, he recently completed Focus Business School and is active as a multi-faceted marketer. He sells telephone credits and re-sells donuts and cooking fuel. He’s ambitious and dreams of buying and selling goods across international borders.

Gloire could have been destined for a tragic life. Instead, he’s a man on the move. We’re honored to be a part of his story. Thank you for your part in it.

Focus Business School teaches entrepreneurship and financial management based on Biblical principles and values. We offer this instruction to local entrepreneurs in partnership with Focus Business School International. A related component of this program is microloans. Microlending helps people start sustainable businesses that provide income, employment and family stability. While we require repayment of a loan, no interest is assessed.
