our love for Jesus is the motivating factor of the ministry in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Dr. Kristin F. Chaudoin King
President of the Board

There are a lot of good things that happen through Future Hope Africa. I just want to take a moment to reaffirm why we do what we do.

There are so many good programs and charities that help people around the world. What makes us tick? How do we maintain our focus?

It’s all about Jesus.

It’s all about Jesus. We were brought together in spirit and by The Spirit to minister to students of all ages in the Democratic Republic of Congo with a dream to grow to more African countries. Our in-country staff meets and prays together over decisions, support, our students and supporters each week. Our board meetings open and close in prayer as we seek God’s direction for our ministry. We strive to raise our eyes from the work to our God and never lose sight of the why and the focus.

We pray for our lives to sing a song to God and give him glory for all that He has done through Future Hope Africa. As you learn about the business school expanding for those who can’t read, or the start of the new Grace Scholarships, or the tutoring that launched the work, please always remember that grateful hearts for Jesus drive us forward, keep us grounded, and pray for you who find this organization.

The work of FHA can seem so far away for many of us. What I hope we can do more of in the coming years, though, is to encourage each other, sharpen each other, so that we can all grow closer to God through our interactions with what He is doing through Future Hope Africa.

Lord, I pray You manifest Yourself in remarkable, specific ways in the lives of each of us today.
