Announcing a New Opportunity With Grace Scholarships

Kristin F. Chaudoin King

Imagine for a moment if every child you know had to pay tuition to go to high school. How many would make it? I have three sons that age right now and know many of their friends whose families would struggle, who might not be able to attend at all. What would that do to our communities? What sort of jobs are there for people who don’t go past the 8th grade? How many would be unable to read the Word of God? Now imagine students receiving a scholarship that brings hope not only by providing for school but also brings the hope of Christ. This is FHA’s new Grace Scholarship.

When a longtime friend of ours and of FHA reached out with this idea, it was obvious from the details of his proposal that time, prayer and inspiration were behind Grace Scholarship. You probably know someone like him, someone who has dedicated years to youth in your community or church, not as a pastor, but as a volunteer who serves out of a heart for young people. Are you someone with compassion for young people today? Do you know someone like this?

When I read the bio of a seventeen-year-old young woman without a father and longing for education, I was moved to print out the bio and take it to my husband. Now we are among the first sponsors. Follow the link to learn more about a student in need today with whom you can connect like we are. See how God will use the Grace Scholarship to change lives for His glory.
