You can help us make the most of a matching grant by giving a gift to Future Hope Africa by Dec. 31. Every dollar, up to $2,500, will be matched by a generous donor. This allows us to raise up to $5,000 for three life-changing causes:
Converting a storage container into a classroom.
Continuing our critically-needed after-school tutoring.
Awarding micro-loans to aspiring entrepreneurs who need a financial jump start.

HELP US MAKE THE MOST OF A MATCHING GRANT: DETAILS
It’s been quite a year – for you and for us – and it’s not done yet. Holidays are near, but we still have plenty of good to do thanks to your help and partnership. And here’s a year-end way to make an impact.
We just received word of a generous matching gift that will help us:
Turn a shipping container into a classroom. That’s right! It’s sturdy, waterproof, adaptable and affordable. It’s a fixer-upper but will meet our needs. This allows us to serve more students. Even with our recent expansion, we have a waiting list and plenty of anxious parents hoping their children can get in.
Fund our critical after school tutoring program, which is needed more than ever because of the disruption of the public school system by COVID-19. This prepares children and youth for a successful future.
Fund our micro-loan program for small businesses. A business can be started for as little as $200, but often people have no reserves. Our loan program helps jump start their income and preserves their dignity by requiring repayment. It’s a hand up, not a handout.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 by Dec. 31. Because of the matching grant, every gift is doubled. This is a tremendous opportunity to make an impact in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. All U.S. gifts are tax deductible.
