Our Mission and Vision
STRENGTHENING CHILDREN, FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO
Future Hope Africa invests in the lives of children, families and struggling entrepreneurs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We do this through:
Free after-school tutoring for students ranging from grade school through high school.
Granting scholarships for students from grade school to college.
Fostering the development of faith and character through student groups and activities.
Supporting young and beginning entrepreneurs through business training and microloan financing.
Future Hope Africa, Inc., is a U.S.-based non-profit organization with a mission based on Christian convictions. Our work is focused in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) but our vision is to also expand to other nations in Africa. Our work is supported by an international network of contributors, volunteers, teachers and prayer partners.
Our mission is inspired by the Bible verse Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Future Hope Africa is a 501c-3 nonprofit registered in the state of Kentucky. We file annual reports with both the Kentucky Secretary of State and the IRS (form 990) in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
